So everyone is on the same page with the same information. A "Town Hall" meeting has been requested to allow everyone to ask questions, and hopefully resolve much of the conflicting-information roaming around. Town Hall Request2 - Metro Associates - Boa....pdf (75.28 KB)

Great idea. I have drafted a letter to the Board and Metro requesting the same thing.
Since I don't think I can attach the file, here it is:
To the Board and to Metro Associates:
I am writing to request that an open “town hall” style meeting be organized and conducted in our community clubhouse. It appears that there is a lot of information being circulated within our community and this will be the best platform for everyone to come together and gain a better understanding of what is the truth and what is not.
I’m sure it comes as no surprise that there are a good amount of homeowners that are concerned with the current and future state of our community. There is a tremendous lack of responsiveness, communication and overall participation on the part of our current board of directors as well as our management company. To see a letter in my mailbox recently bashing the efforts of a core group of people wanting to change our current state of affairs really made me upset. It further solidifies that fact that you may just want to put blinders on and not do anything to facilitate change.
Here is your chance to take a step back, assess the situation and figure out what you can do to make it better. If hosting a town hall meeting isn’t the perfect platform to accomplish this, than I’m not sure what is.
I’m certain that the overall goal is not to “kick Metro Associates out” but come to an agreement that a change needs to be made and to develop a plan of action to accomplish those changes. I want to be proud of the community I live in, not be disgusted every time I drive down Central Blvd. and see the current state of our neighborhood. I implore you to seriously consider having a meeting (and advertise it to your community members) so that we can come up with a plan on how to make our community great like it once was.

Well said! That's a great letter and I hope Metro has the decency to respond.

If their letter they sent out regarding how they are staunch supporters and advocates for this community, then having a an involved board would be a positive to them. This is our community, and we should be able to do what is beneficial for the community.
