Over a year ago my storage door was replaced and from that day it never closed. Even with the smallest breeze it would blow open. Metro sent someone over a few months later to fix it just to have it blow open again the next time the wind blew. With the last two payments I sent to them I included a note that it was ridiculous that after a year it still was not correct and if they couldn't get this fixed, I would hire my own person and send them the bill. Well.... Friday I got a call from "Jimmy" telling me the door probably settled and wasn't "going where it was supposed to" but it was fixed. This is how he fixed it. Seriously? Duct tape?

Wow. This is so frustrating. We all just paid money to get this done. Even though I don't know Jimmy, who's probably a nice guy, but, I can state "he's not a carpenter, or tradesman, or skilled in the basics of hanging a door". He is of course, what Mary Anne tried to sell us on, a "Remediation Expert". For those interested, there's no such thing as a remediation expert.
Based on the photos, this is a door that was installed wrong and out of square, or simply put, installed crooked. As to the correction, it was also done wrong. But I didn't really need to say that, did I? If, you didn't live in a condominium, and you had a worker come to your home and do this quality of work, would you pay for it? Then why are we putting up with paying for this? Keep in mind also, this poor "repair" (couldn't think of another word) will lead to additional repairs later on. Water damages! Rot! Molds! All expensive when you think of a five minute fix done wrong.

Embarrassing and disgraceful... Another fine selling feature.
