Looks like a repeat of the July meeting. No notices. No meeting. No explanation.
To add insult to injury, or should it be "more" injury to the insult; the targeting of half the owners in the Twin Lakes area to "forceably" pay for the Associations maintenance requirements. The Association's Board (property manager) has told 72 owners they will be responsible for replacement of skylights. And it suggested it advisable to replace these old items soon. Unfortunately, this is just one more misguided ruse to take more money from the owners. As CLEARLY stated in the Master Deed of the Burnt Tavern Manor Condominium, the skylights are the responsibility of the Association in the common repairs. The Board suggests the old frames are rotting and leaking. That is a sign of bad roofing and not age. Wood framing only rots from water contact, which is only normal when rain water gets under shingles and flashings. Because of the poorly done and even more poorly maintained roofing systems, many skylights have suffered. The same as many walls and ceilings, windows and doors. Rain allowed to enter the structure of the buildings causes rot, attracts insects, and mold. The Board's actions to repeatedly target the Twin Lakes owners, raises the question "Why?"
Maybe the lack of a meeting in July was to avoid questions about a pending lawsuit against the Association and the Board members? Maybe the missing October meeting is to avoid questions about the targeting of the Twin Lakes owners with the latest fraud perpetrated against them?
